These people are called Intha who live at Lake Inle, Myanmar. Even well over 70 years old they still labour hard. The Intha are a self-sufficient group of people, most of them survive through farming or fishing. They developed a special technique…
That allows them to “walk” on water.
They can simultaneously fish with their hands while holding up to 70 Lbs of weights.
Aang Ku is one of the last generations of Intha living at Lake Inle.
“I wanted to help my father since young, but he didn’t want me to live in poverty like him.”
When Aang Ku was 8 years old, his mother passed away from cholera.
“She always believed education is the means to get out of this chain of poverty.”
Aang Ku excelled in studies and was awarded a scholarship he went on to US to further his studies, majoring in Engineering at the University of Colorado, at the United States. He constantly had to work multiple part time jobs to sustain himself.
“I didn’t want to let my family down, even when my back hurts constantly from the stress, I could not stop working. When I stop working, I have no money to even eat.”
He remembered how his father was able to work tirelessly for every day without taking a day off. This was where it struck a chord to him.
“Intha fishermen used to do this routine every night, my father would heat up some stones and I would then massage his back with it slowly."
“From the neck to shoulder eventually down the back, the process usually takes 30 to 40 minutes.”
Aang Ku then tried to emulate this process but found no success.
“I tried and it burned my hand, I knew I was missing something.”
During one of the holidays Aang Ku decided to visit his hometown. When he was back in Lake Inle he experimented further.
“What I found was mind blowing! The stone found in Inle Lake has special properties. It’s minerals allow it to sustain certain temperatures for a long time.”
“When heated fully, they go up to exactly 116.45 Fahrenheit and no more, no wonder I have never burnt my hand as they can’t overheat.”
When Aang Ku got back to the United States he cooperated with Dr. Peter Dorrell, a famous Orthopaedic from his research team to create his breakthrough findings.
“116.45 Fahrenheit is the perfect temperature for muscles to relax, anything higher would burn the skin and anything lower would lose its effect.”
“This temperature is apparent in traditional Japanese hot springs…”
“That are known to carry healing properties bringing vitality to the body.”
Because of the Intha stones being too heavy, they couldn’t bring them back, so they tried other ways to emulate its temperature retention capability, after many years of research finally they succeeded in producing a blanket that covers the whole back.
“It is called Alivio Relief™.”
“It is made to sustain the perfect temperature that is able to distribute evenly to the whole back.”
“The temperature slowly relaxes the muscles expanding and softening the tissues allowing the nerves to relax without constraint.”
“When massaged, the blood starts circulating, effectively getting rid of any stiffness in the muscles.”
Aang Ku was now able to share his secret with the world helping those who are also suffering from back pain.
“I am glad that I was able to share this ancient secret, if you know anyone who is suffering from back pain, share this secret to them.”
97.3% of volunteers noted immediate improvement in the first week.
